InOrbit malls have a touch kiosk on every floor, where shoppers find a store, a washroom or an exit and see the latest offers. From late 2021 to early 2022 Abhi Chatterjee designed it at Screenroot as a senior UX/UI designer, leading the project with 1 junior designer, from use cases to the final screens for a 1920 x 1080 kiosk on a basic TV and a 4GB box. Office tests moved the menu from a tall side bar to a bottom bar that children aged 5 to 6 could reach on their own; flat cards, line icons and a flat floor map keep the screen light for the box; fixed slots and 1 store template let every brand drop in its own banner; and 1 assistance layout serves 4 malls - Malad, Vashi, Cyberabad and Vadodara. The kiosk is live in InOrbit malls today.
